Aida Elkhanzade is a professional pianist and an experienced teacher. She holds a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance. Her teaching practice is based on a synthesis of Russian and American methods of piano schools. She is proficient in technique, theory, improvisation and accompaniment skills. She is a classical musician who constantly strives to improve her own and her students’ musical skills.

Aida is continually looking for performance opportunities in the community and also accompanies other accomplished singers, violinists and cellists in the Greater Sacramento region. She has been awarded numerous certificates from the Institute of Russian and Eurasian Studies for the “Best Interpretation of Russian Music”. Aida was honored with Certificate of Recognition by the Senator for commitment to the preservation and elevation of the music arts and for performance at the State Capitol of California in September, 2018.
