
Meagan Kilpatrick, MM
Piano
A native of Northern California, pianist Meagan Kilpatrick grew up participating in Certificate of Merit, CSUS’ Young Performers section of The Festival of New American Music, The Bartok Festival, MTAC Branch recitals and masterclasses, CAPMT events and more. As a teenager, she participated in CSUS’ Accelerated College Entrance Program (ACE) as a student of pianist Richard Cionco. From CSUS, she received her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and later, her Master’s in Piano Performance from New York University, under the tutelage of Eduardus Halim, the final pupil of Vladimir Horowitz.
Mrs. Kilpatrick has taught piano for over 20 years. She is certified to teach the Suzuki Method (Piano Units 1, 2) and holds a teaching certificate from Rudolf Steiner College in Waldorf Education.
As a musician, Mrs. Kilpatrick accompanies a great deal. She has performed as soloist, chamber musician, and band mate. She is grateful for the many experiences she has had as a musician and looks forward to many more!
