Brennen Milton, MM
Clarinet/Saxophone/Flute
Award winning clarinetist, Brennen Milton, has performed throughout the United States, Italy, and here in Sacramento, He currently performs as the second half of the instrumental duo Carlos & Brennen, as clarinetist with the Symphony d’Oro Rancho Cordova, and as an independent musician.
In March of 2018 Carlos & Brennen were invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City, after winning first place in chamber music at the Golden Classical Music Awards. Mr. Milton made his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2016 where he was invited by the Inter harmony International Music Festival to perform Debussy’s Premier Rhapsody. Later in 2018 Carlos & Brennen traveled to Las Vegas to give a presentation on How to Overcome Stage Fright for the National Association of Negro Musicians’ 99th annual conference. Mr. Milton has also given performances in his hometown of Memphis, Tn and the states of North Carolina, Mississippi, and Connecticut.
In 2014 Brennen Traveled to Italy to perform with the Tuscia Opera Festival. There he was a member of the orchestra and chamber ensembles. He returned in 2015 for the Inter Harmony Music Festival where he performed his award-winning performance of Premier Rhapsody.
In September of 2018 Carlos & Brennen opened the 66th season of the Sacramento Community Concerts Association and was invited to serve as webmaster for their 2019-2020 board of directors. Brennen is proud to have performed with colleagues Carlos Fuentes, Reylynn Imai, and Jia-Chen in Oliver Messiaen’s The Quartet for the End of Time on October 20th 2018 at 7 pm at the CLARA center for the Performing Arts. Brennen strives to bring as excellent musical experience to his community through informed coaching, teaching, and performing.
